Bailey Foust
Bailey began dancing at the age of 2 under the direction of Tori Melby and Lisa Mace at Dancers Workshop in Sanford, NC. She began dancing competitively at the age of 6 and quickly won multiple state and national awards. Bailey was a top 10 finalist for both Teen Miss Dance of NC and Miss Dance of NC and was awarded Top Tapper at nationals. She has trained in jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, acro, hip hop and musical theater.
Bailey continued her training at East Carolina University, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography. While at ECU, Bailey had the pleasure of training under Tommi Galaska, Dirk Lumbard, Teal Darkenwald, David Ingram, John Dixon, Ji-Eun Lee, and Danielle Sheather. She attended Inaside Chicago Dance summer intensive, as well as the prestigious Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance in London, England for two weeks. Bailey began teaching at BPAC in 2016 and quickly fell in love with teaching the next generation of children her love for this art form!
Taylor Bowden
Taylor has been dancing since the age of 3 and teaching Clogging at BPAC since 2018.
She is a graduate of Barton College with a Bachelor in Science degree, and is currently furthering her education at Sampson Community College in the ADN Program.
As a Miss and a Teen contestant in the Miss America Organization, she received multiple talent awards for her clogging routines!
Megan Beachem
Miss Megan is excited for another amazing dance year! This will be Miss Megan’s fourth year at BPAC. She has been teaching dance for over 10 years and is always seeking to grow in her knowledge of dance education so that she may share that same knowledge with her students. She recently finished a Kinesiology and Implied Dance certificate through the National Dance Education Association and she can’t wait to apply that knowledge into her classes. Miss Megan has Bachelors of Arts in Dance from Meredith College. While her first love is ballet, she also enjoys teaching jazz, modern, and contemporary dance. Miss Megan also has an affection for cleaning dances. She sees the great value in making sure students use correct technique so that the dancer can perform efficiently and effectively. When Miss Megan isn’t teaching she enjoys reading, drinking lots of coffee, and playing disc golf.
Courtney Saffie
Courtney Saffie is a native of Chapel Hill, NC and grew up dancing in Cary and Raleigh. She has a performing arts background and growing up was heavily involved in dance, theater, and music. She performed throughout the triangle and attended Cary Ballet Conservatory and Carolina Dance Center. She is a graduate from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and a minor in Entrepreneurship. While at UNCG Courtney studied modern, ballet, jazz, tap, African and hip-hop. She studied under the faculty of BJ Sullivan, Duane Cyrus, Jan Van Dyke, Amanda Diorio and Lindsey Howie. She has performed for Amanda Diorio, and Loren Groendaal, as well as having roles in The Wizard of Oz for Community Theater of Greensboro and Oklahoma for The School of Performing Arts at UNCG. Courtney has been dancing for well over 20 years and has been teaching in the Triangle Area for over 10 years. Courtney served as the Performing Company Director for The Dance Center of Knightdale for 9 years. Currently she is on faculty at Brand Performing Arts Center in Wilson, NC where she teaches ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical and musical theater and works with their competition and recreation dancers. In addition to teaching Courtney has judged Dance Competitions in the Southeast for the last 5 years, and continues to do so. Courtney loves instilling the love of dance and the performing arts in her students. She is so thankful to be a part of the BPAC Family!
Skylar Brunetti
Skylar was once a student at the ‘PAC, and now has the opportunity to be on the other side! Skylar began dancing at a young age and started competitively dancing by the age of 10. Skylar has trained in styles such as jazz, contemporary, hip hop, tap and ballet under Barrett Hildebrand, Nina Wheeler and more. After graduating high school, Skylar went on to receive her bachelor’s degree in Marketing at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
She was able to continue her dance training by joining UNCW’s Dance Company and hip hop crew Physical Graffeeti. During her time with both Physical Graffeet and UNCW’s Dance Company, she traveled to perform with other collegiate dance groups in multiple showcases around the east coast. She was also able to train under well-known choreographers such as Yanis Marshall, Candace Brown, Keenan Cooks and more attending different workshops and professional classes in and out of North Carolina. Skylar is so excited to be back at the ‘PAC!
